Core Technology

Our flagship product, SOLINDOFLEET, is an advanced fleet management system using a combination of Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites and GSM/GPRS cellular technology provided by established telecommunication service providers. The system can be implemented in less than a week for fleets starting from 5 vehicles operating in a single metropolitan area and is scalable to fleets with thousands of vehicles across the islands.

SOLINDOGPS also offers consumer-oriented personal vehicle tracking system called, SOLINDOTRACE. With features that allow vehicle owners to disable the vehicle in the event of unauthorized use, view real-time or historical vehicle location information, and receive alerts whenever their vehicles exceeds a pre-defined boundary or speed-limit, this affordable and easy to use system brings absolute peace of mind to its owners.

SOLINDOGPS development plans are focused on helping our customers get more from their business. Overview

SOLINDOFLEET is a real-time automatic fleet management system (AFMS) linked to GPS-based Vehicle Monitoring Units (VMU) via the internet as well as the GSM network. Fleet owners/managers are equipped with a client workstation connected to a central server in the 24x7 Operations Command Center. With an advanced yet intuitive user interface, SOLINDOFLEET is simple to operate and easy to learn. The system includes a number of modules designed to provide you with industry leading performance. Other than the ability to retrieve the historical route that the vehicle travelled and tracking the vehicles position in real-time, the system will also be able to detect and report various events such as emergency, speed violations, engine stoppage, intruder violation, power failure etc.

How It Works

Upon logging in, the system will send a request to Vehicle Monitoring Units (VMU) that are installed in the vehicles. The units will then determine their respective location using the signals transmitted by Global Positioning System (GPS) Satellites and automatically send the location data as well as other necessary information via the mobile GSM network to the SOLINDOFLEET system to be processed and displayed back to the end-user on a digital map as illustrated below.

Under normal circumstances, vehicle owners are provided with secure personal login to the SOLINDOTRACE system website accessible via the internet. Upon logging in, the system will send a request to a Vehicle Monitoring Unit (VMU) that is installed in the vehicle. The unit will then determine its location using the signals transmitted by Global Positioning System (GPS) Satellites and automatically send this data as well as other necessary information via the mobile GSM network to the SOLINDOTRACE system to be processed and displayed back to the end-user on a digital map as illustrated below.

However, in the event of an illegal/forced entry, the Vehicle Monitoring Unit (VMU) will automatically send an emergency alert that includes the location data to the SOLINDOGPS 24x7 Operational Command Center, which will relay the alert to the vehicle owner’s mobile phone. At the same time, a Command Center operator can assist to monitor the vehicle and take the necessary actions to contact the police or the vehicle’s owner.
